Registration Open for GEAPS Leadership Conference

Event Set for May 8-9, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas

MINNEAPOLIS, January 4, 2024 – Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) is happy to announce registration is open for GEAPS Leadership Conference May 8-9, 2024! We’re leading the way to the historic Stockyards of Fort Worth, Texas. Come ready to hear from expert presenters on important industry topics, network with industry colleagues and have some fun in the Lonestar State!  

Save money by registering early! The full conference is $250 for GEAPS members and $350 for nonmembers who register on or before Monday, April 1. Rates will increase to $325 and $425 on April 2.  

There are two bonus opportunities to begin and end GEAPS Leadership Conference this year. Mosey on over to Billy Bob’s Texas on the first night of the event for great food, drinks, line dancing lessons and some of the most fun you’ve had in boots! Billy Bob’s is known as the world’s largest honky tonk, and well worth the admission price of $50. Before you head home, you’re invited to take part in a golf tournament hosted by GEAPS’ Lonestar Chapter.

With a theme of “Leading a Culture of Safety,” GEAPS Leadership Conference will help attendees learn the philosophy of Servant Leadership, where leadership isn’t about you, but the people you lead. The conference will also feature in-depth breakout sessions on practical methods for safety training, conflict management and purposeful presence.    

Those who attended GEAPS Leadership Conference in Portland last year surely remember Ted Schick. He was so highly rated on our event surveys; we invited him back! He seems as excited to join us as we are to have him.

Because we’re in Texas, we have even planned time in the conference to catch the spectacle that is the Fort Worth Daily Cattle Drive through the Stockyards.
